I’ve touched on this before but not in detail. This seems to be something that people seem to think matters when money has been exchanged for a service. The reason your feelings don’t matter is not only because you have a job to do but because of the other things surrounding this projects completion. From marketing campaigns to the sale of goods albeit digital or otherwise. You slacking because you feel lazy or some shit has happened to you isn’t going to fucking cut it. The obvious also has an oft neglected caveat as well. If you were working with vogue and told them that you couldn’t complete the project because you didn’t feel like it or some other bullshit then get prepared. They are not only going to have to find someone else but they are also going to cut all contact with you and you’ll never work with them again.

Couple that with them informing their network of lucrative clientele that will be told of how you are a monumental fuck up who is never to be hired for work should your name come across their desk. Now to people with a professional mind this is obvious but to most who want to be solely artists and neglect the business they will surely pay dearly in the loss of networking opportunity and money. If you want to succeed in the business side of art then you need to treat the business like an art. You also as described by the title have to curtail your feelings and get the job done. You and your feelings are irrelevant. Get the fucking job done because no one cares once currency for a service is exchanged and a deadline is agreed upon. Don’t block your blessings by being a lazy fuck and definitely don’t let your laziness block someone else’s. I have spoken.

Real Shit Is Hard To Find Nowadays....

Be yourself from jump. Niggas don’t have time to figure out if this is you or not. Don’t let me fall in love with the representative but the person within is absolute garbage in reality. I make it a habit of just being myself because not only is it refreshing, cathartic and whole bunch of other SAT words but it saves fucking time. Someone can judge you at face value; as you are. From that point they can decide whether you gel well together and whether they fuck with you or not.

If they do then its lit and if not then no hard feelings. Why play games when you can save time by trimming the fat and getting to the main event. In the end no one wants a relationship of any kind to begin with a lie. It just causes problems for the future. If you live in your truth then they can’t hold the past over you. It’s not easy but its worth it. The most difficult decisions are usually the best for you.

You'll Never Be Ready

The only way to get ready is by doing. Taking your ego and your fears out of it and doing it because you want to and for your own enjoyment. You’ll get ready as you go along and that will be a journey full of practice, experimentation and failure. Like A LOT OF FUCKING FAILURE. In all honesty that is the best part. Being able to see where your flaws are and being able to gradually correct them. Not only that but you’ll be incrementally edging towards the person you want to be who’ll be as good as you want to be. It’s a step by step process and a lot of niggas want to microwave the shit and get instant results but fail to realize that all you get is a shitty product.

No one wants to look inward and no one wants to work. It’s all just instant gratification and a trash product. Life is not instagram or twitter. That is a highlight reel and NOT FUCKING REAL LIFE! We make mistakes and you can either learn from and live with them or you can keep making them. I prefer the former. Even if your ready nothing is always going to go your way and there will always be some bum ass nigga in a basement with some slick shit to say but thats life. If you can’t handle that then you better get hip because by the time you’re actually “Ready” it’ll be too late. Strike now while you’re scared and nervous. That means you’re on the right track to greatness and the freedom that comes with it.

DON'T Let Money Be Your ONLY Motivator....

That shit will drive you crazy fam, trust me. I’m saying this from experience. That shit is fucking trash and you will hate that shit. You may not regret it because your wallet will look like an instagram model but you will hate yourself. This also comes from seeing the perspectives of other people who only really work for the money. They slack and procrastinate when the money is absent but wanna work in overdrive when they see dollar signs. The thing these fuck niggas don’t understand is that sometimes the opportunity to get to the bag comes from the opportunities you ignored that had no money but people who had talent worth more than that. When you slack and are inconsiderate with someones time not only is that an opportunity potentially squandered but now you’ve destroyed the trust by being lazy or late.

This means that you’ve officially destroyed a chance to work with them because why would anyone work with someone who they can’t rely or depend on. You also never know where someone will end up. The person you ignored, treated like absolute shit or even neglected to put your best foot forward with could go on to work with people you’d only hoped to work with let alone be in the same room with. Now your only way in is out because you destroyed the relationship with the person who could’ve made that dream of yours a reality. Respect other peoples time, energy and talent. The niggas you worked with for free could lead you to getting to the biggest bags you’ve ever seen in your life; Together.

The Difference Between Neglect & Focus

This is the one thing about me that sometimes confuses me like shit fam. To get straight to the shit I am someone who loves relationships with women. I can be a whole ho if I wanted to but I like the intimacy of a relationship so fucking sue me lol. The problem is that when it comes to me finding this its almost as if for me personally anyway that I’m meeting the right women at the wrong time. Beautiful baddies for whom I would love to spend my time with and blow the backs out of but it’s just never the right time. Either they got a nigga or they just got out of a relationship. Due to the consistency of this I just said fuck it and decided to focus on me, which has paid off tremendously in regards to my sense of self worth, self love and mental health. The problem is when I think about how little time I spend finding a partner because I’m so focused on getting to my vision.

It makes me wonder if I’m just really focused or am I using my vision as a way to avoid that aspect of my life. Shit maybe it is both nigga I don’t fucking know lol. This is something I started thinking about because of how my life will be WHEN I pop off and WHEN I’m successful. Who will be there to say that they experienced the journey with me and stayed the course? Will it just be me alone in a nice apartment/home with mad money and no-one to share it with? Will I just throw myself into my work in order to keep so busy that I’m forced not to pay attention even though I notice it? I don’t want to be the nigga who has everything and no-one to share it with. I also don’t wanna be no bum ass nigga who can’t rub two fucking coins together to save his fucking life. I wanna see my vision for my future coalesce into a full fledged reality and I won’t let anything or anyone stand in my way. I just don’t want to neglect finding someone and have no-one to stand with me when its all said and done.

The reason I blather on here and show more of myself on places like instagram is because I want to meet more people and connect with them. It’s not about quantity all the time or even at all with me. It’s about the quality of people for me. Being surrounded by people who fuck with you for who you are at your core; Not who you pretend to be if thats your thing, weirdo. It’s about creating a place where people with the same thoughts, feelings and interests can speak freely and feel comfortable enough to want to truly be themselves. It’s about being able to see that people in your life or in your comments have your back and genuinely care. It’s about being able to have the difficult conversations in a healthy, helpful and cathartic manner.

It’s about being able to provide genuine help and value to the people who follow you. It’s about growing not just as an artist but growing as a person but doing it with your audience. They get to learn with you and improve with you. Before you know it people will be reminiscing about following you a decade ago when they were in high school and now they have a family. It’s not about followers, fame or even money. It’s about fostering a community that genuinely wants to see you win and you want the same for them. It’s not about me. It’s about community. Don't Waste My FUCKING Time!!!!

This one imma try to keep short but its very unlikely, like VERY unlikely but i’ll try. The KEY word is TRY. Please, in 2021 and beyond DO NOT waste my time. Its not fucking rocket science. If I have set aside time to do something with you whether it be productive or otherwise it’s probably because I give an inkling of a shit. If you aren’t going to extend the same amount of courtesy then please just go fuck yourself and stay home. Don’t even get dressed and tell me with your twitter fingers that you’re going to be late. It’s a waste that comes from you not being mindful of my own time, overextending yourself because you don’t know how a clock works and suck dick at scheduling or a whole host of other reasons. Niggas showing up to shit 3 and 4 hours late like thats acceptable. NEWS FLASH FUCK NIGGA!!!! IT. IS. NOT.

If you’re going to do that with me when we’re trying to create something for both of our benefit that could lead to monetary gain later then how the fuck are you going to function when an entire production for a brand is involved. That might, no, WILL be the last time an opportunity like that comes your way because you’re an asshole. Most of you know in advance and STILL don’t show up or end up coming late. The excuse of life happens is not in use for you anymore and you know who YOU are. Why are you running errands the day we scheduled A WEEK in advance. A WEEK. Let that marinate. Moral of the story is that if you waste my fucking time then we’re fucking done fam. I can’t trust you when it matters so fuck you. A waste of time is a waste of opportunity. Remember that. You Are A Reflection Of The Company You Keep....

Never forget that shit. Even if you are completely different from the niggas around you it should still make you stop and think “Would I want their behaviors, mannerisms and attitudes associated with me?” If the answer is a resounding “FUCK NO!” the get the hell outta dodge. The people around you should all be of like and sound mind. They should be moving towards the same goals and milestones as you. If your goal is to be basic then congrats because you get to let the same bum ass niggas you hang with drag you down until you have nothing left with no guilt whatsoever. Now if you wanna be a real one then you gotta cut these niggas off and let them sink or swim on their own. It’s not harsh it’s just life. My life is too valuable to me to let someone hold me back and bring me down.

I’d much rather watch them die (figuratively speaking of course ya fucking idiot lol) then have them be the anchor on my legs pulling me down until I suffocate and drown. I’d rather it be you than me. My dreams and goals are more important than anything that type of person has to offer. If you keep them around its tantamount to domestic abuse. They hurt you but because you remember the ONE time they did something nice for you, you just run back; FUCK THAT. Cut them off and cut that shit the fuck out. Relationships are transactional. Period. From Spousal relationships to friendships, if they’re not adding something good to your life then they have to go. A lot of you niggas throw that “friend” word around but most of them niggas in your circle are barely even acquaintances. LET. THEM. GO. You’ll move faster, accomplish more and feel as though a weight has been lifted. So I reiterate; Let them go and move on. I promise you’ll be better for it.

Professionalism Is NOT an Option....

It is a REQUIREMENT ya dickhead! A lot of you “so called” artists seem to neglect the fact that when working with a client on a project that the way you conduct business is just as important as doing business in the first place. People who draw shit saying it’ll be done in a month but finish it in 4. Niggas showing no sense of communication in relation to the project at hand or to keep their client abreast of the projects process towards completion. Niggas going ghost like Danny Phantom because they’re emotional and going through shit. News flash bitch, no one gives a FUCK about your feelings and emotions when someone has paid you for a service. All they care about is the agreed upon terms and you getting it done. Your feelings don’t matter. Your life don’t matter. You don’t matter. All that matters is whether or not the job is done to the specifications presented by said client.

A lot of you niggas want careers in these fields but expect to treat it like a hobby. If thats the case then get a fucking patreon and hope for the best. If you want to conduct true business then you have to realize that its not just about the quality of the work you put out but the quality of you as a person. Stick to your word and the terms. Keep them updated because it is a group effort and this work will have your name attached to it so make sure you’re creating something that pleases you both. This is not just money on the line but opportunity also. Don’t fuck up the bag because you’re lazy and provide them with a pleasant experience. This could lead to future business with not just them but their contacts as well. Professionalism in the age where every nigga wanna pretend to be a CEO or some shit is in short supply. Professionalism shouldn’t be a breath of fresh air; It should be the standard.

An Invitation To Conversation....

You know why I keep my life to my fucking self? Because what you put out into to the world via social media or just the internet in general is a catalyst for conversation. A lot of you assholes get bent out of shape when a nigga says some shit underneath your comments because you seem not to understand how the world works. People are ALWAYS gon’ have some shit to say. Human beings are dynamic creatures with the a multitude of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and viewpoints. A lot of you seem to think that you have the right to dictate what people are allowed to say/how to react to your shit but you DO NOT control them. This internet shit ain’t for the faint of heart my nigga. This doesn’t mean that you don’t cultivate your audience and let them know the rules of engagement and the consequences that come with breaking them.

What it means is that you have to be prepared for all interactions regardless of their nature. You have to interact with those who follow you and show them what behaviors will garner which reactions. It isn’t going to always be heart and fire emoji’s under your shit. Sometimes it might be “Your baby is built like a misshapen Tonka truck.” or “Your girl looks like she has a glass jaw and brittle ankles.” People talk and the SOCIAL part is what DRIVES the MEDIA you stupid fucking stupid person. The interaction is everything. All you can control is how you react to it. Build a thick skin. Stick to your guns.

Realize and don’t be surprised when people critique, criticize, hate, etc. because you are giving them the ammunition to do by posting so if they speak on a certain thing that your sensitive about in a way that you don’t like then I hope you realize that its YOUR FAULT. These pages ARE NOT YOURS. YOU DO NOT OWN THEM. The social media sites do. Never forget that. Lastly, understand that these faceless fuck niggas are just that; Anonymous bums mavis beacon teacher typing on the internet. They don’t matter. While they’re talking shit your working and you have more power than you think. You have a literal button that makes it to where the don’t exist. Learn to react better and prepare for the worst and hope for the best. You’re only as strong as your last reaction.

Relationships Are Pretty Fucking Simple....

That doesn’t mean they aren’t difficult it just means that the steps needed to get to what most consider a beautiful relationship are fairly straight forward. The fucked up part is that niggas make shit WAY more complicated than it needs to be. Even worse is that these fuckers wander around expecting extra credit for the bare minimum. People will look at a relationship and say things like “OMG! He treats you so well!” or “He loves you so much!” but thats what your spouse is supposed to do you fucking butthole.

They are supposed to give your unconditional love and support. They are supposed to be your biggest motivator. They are supposed to grow with you. They are supposed to treat you right. It’s your job as a spouse to do these things period. You are not doing anything special by doing what your supposed to and that doesn’t make you great either. At that point it just means that you have common sense and can follow directions. I mean, these things were always in the job description of “Lover” so it really goes with out saying. Treat Him/Her right and you’ll go the distance. Love them right and they’ll stay forever.

Mood....

It’s alright to feel this way in all honesty. To not know which way is up and to feel like the future is doing nothing but leaving you emotionally over-encumbered and that shit ain’t even here yet. You wake up feeling all of this nonexistent pressure or if you’re in the unfortunate circumstance of having that pressure being very much real then you have to cope with that and maneuver through the world normally. That shit fucking sucks but you can find solace in the fact that nobody really gives a fuck about you so don’t worry because you can live in peace.

You can feel that pressure but you have to either realize it’s fictional or work through the pressure people thrust upon you and work regardless of it because they don’t matter. Just wake up and do something you enjoy. You can take solace in the fact that a lot of shit can change in a year and that no one has it all figured out. Most of the time a lot niggas just end up fumbling into shit and it works out. So the moral of the story is that it’s okay to feel lost but eventually you have to pick a direction and get to fucking walking. You don’t want to be that guy/girl that watches everyone around you elevate while you slowly get left behind. Stop bitching. Get to work.

You Are Not Special....

And thats okay to be perfectly honest. A lot of people are entitled and feel like all the things they aspire to have to be given to them because they think they are so fucking unique. Here’s a news flash to you fucking assholes out there who feel that way; YOU ARE NOT! Just because you’re kinda good at something doesn’t mean that when you put a minuscule amount of effort forward that the world owes you anything. It does not. When you finally humble yourself and see yourself as just another person is when you take the power limiter off and you can finally get to work. Thats due to seeing all the work and effort of others and how hard they prepare for that moment when everything clicks. When you see yourself as just another person is when you see that your best is not enough. That’s when you have to surpass your limits and exit your comfort zone whilst embracing the unknown. You can’t let fear keep you immobile or become complacent in your current circumstances. While you are sleep someone is still working. While you are immobilized by fear someone else is embracing it, finding the courage within and continuing to work. Shit, even when you’re working someone is working 10x’s harder or smarter than you because they want it more.

When you realize this thats when the rules change and you have to practice, play, and maneuver better than your peers. This is also when you realize that other people may have some shit to say because you are chasing your personal legend and they are not. You are trying to coalesce all you see for yourself whilst having true faith in your abilities and they are not which leaves these bums with a seething hatred for themselves that they project onto you. What they see in you they won’t see in themselves once you get work towards your goals and thats when you say; FUCK ‘EM. What they have to say does not matter and should not effect you in the slightest. Your dreams are more important than their comfort. So in conclusion, you are not unique, special, a snowflake or any of that bullshit. You are just one person with goals and hopefully some drive to match. So get to it. When you do that people will not like it but you must remain above it. Unbothered as fuck.
